Barefoot Golf And Resort, Maybe Myrtle Beach's Finest Resort/Golf Destination

Myrtle Beach Golfer's Dream: Barefoot Golf and Resort

INTRODUCTION:

Myrtle Beach is known world-wide as "The Golf Capital of the World".
If you're planning a golf trip to the Grand Strand this year, Barefoot Golf and Resort is an absolute must-visit. This luxurious Myrtle Beach Golf Resort boasts four of the nicest golf courses in the area: Dye, Norman, Love and Fazio. Also, this first-class establishment has two full-service clubhouses. No, that's not a typo..I said TWO full-service clubhouses. Both clubhouses have a Bar, Restaurant and Pro Shop. Sounds impressive already, right? It doesn't end there. This Myrtle Beach Golf Resort also has on-site accommodations, making for the perfect stay and play golf experience.

THE COURSES:

Barefoot Dye Course: Designed by Pete Dye. This Myrtle Beach golf course is well-known for being both beautiful and challenging.

Barefoot Love Course: Designed by Carolina native Davis Love III. Gorgeous views, medium difficulty, but still enjoyable for the average golfer.

Barefoot Fazio Course: Designed by Tom Fazio. Spectacular views, strategically filled with trees, sand and other natural elements that are sure to put your golfing skills to the test.

Barefoot Norman Course: Designed by Greg Norman. Seven holes gently hug the Intracoastal Waterway. This 7,200 yard long Par 72 will definitely provide you with a memorable Myrtle Beach Golf experience.

THE ACCOMMODATIONS:

The pictures we've provided below should be enough to put a twinkle in your eye. Barefoot Golf and Resort has some of the most breathe-taking views of the Intracoastal Waterway, as well as some of the most luxurious amenities available. What more can you ask for in a Myrtle Beach Condo Rental?

THE EVENTS:

So, what exactly is Monday after the Masters? MAM is an exclusive golf tournament with celebrity guests that is hosted at the Barefoot Dye Clubhouse and golf course. This event got it's name because it is held on the first Monday after the highly coveted PGA Master's tournament. Also, the Sunday prior to MAM, there is a charity auction which in recent years has included an autographed guitar by Taylor Swift, classic automobiles and various sports memorabilia. 2011 UPGRADES & MAINTANENCE:

Some pretty important changes will be happening in 2011 for Barefoot Golf and Resort. Both the Fazio and Norman golf courses will be converting their putting greens from Bermuda to Ultra Dwarf. Barefoot Golf representatives tell us that these changes will occur starting May 6th for the Fazio golf course, and July 7th for the Norman golf course.
Maintanence should last an estimated 6 weeks, depending on the weather.

If you'd like to learn more about these changes, and what they'll mean for your golf strategy, please feel free to visit our other blog post covering the different types of golf course grass.

CONCLUSION:

WOW! That was a lot to take in, and that's because there is a lot to experience at Barefoot Golf and Resort. It's almost like a small city that is completely centered around 4 of the top Myrtle Beach Golf Courses in Myrtle Beach. And just when you thought it couldn't possibly get any better, the location will shock you. Located in the heart of it all , with direct access to all of the greatest restaurants and attractions that Myrtle Beach has to offer.
