increased club head speed

- Headcover
For those of you who have never been to an air show, you
have missed out on quite an event.
You have some of the best Americans there are putting on an
impressive display of skill and prowess for some of the most... interesting
Americans out there.
I remember going to air shows as a kid and watching the Blue
Angels fly. I got a souvenir blow-up plane and hung it on the ceiling in my
room. It was awesome.
At the time they had probably just switched over to flying
F/A-18's. But in the 60's, they used to fly F-11's.
And that is super convenient to this product story, which is
about the Adams Speedline F11!
Granted, this is a driver rather than a flyer, and while it
doesn't have the classic blue-and-yellow colors which inspired the squad's
name, it does have a blue-green sole with some yellow-orange print on it.
It also features some impressive technologies in its own
right, most notably the Velocity Slot Technology which can be seen on the
rear of the club head's crown and sole.
Engineers at Adams implemented these slots to reduce drag on
the club head, which leads to increased club head speed, which translates
to increased ball speed, all of which results in better distances.
With that kind of technology, you can put on an air show of
your own from the tee, so it's best to prepare yourself ahead of time for
all the ooh's and aah's.
