The world-class facilities include two championship golf courses, the Magnolia and the Holly, which are both stunning and challenging to golfers of all skill levels. The Magnolia, a "traditional masterpiece", was designed by Gene Hamm, and has played host to the PGA Tour Qualifying School, the LPGA's 's Pinewild Championship, numerous Carolinas PGA events, as well US Open Qualifying. The Holly, a Gary Player Signature Course, is fast becoming an area favorite, due to its' panoramic beauty, "risk reward" layout, and some the best greens in the Sandhills. The Holly has played host to many USGA Qualifying events, as well as Carolinas PGA Championships.
Whatever your choice of course, you are sure to enjoy the Bermuda grass blanketing the fairways, and velvet bent grass greens.

The Azalea course is a nine-hole par 3 course, which includes some of the more scenic holes on property. The remaining holes consist of three practice holes, which make up part of the world-class practice facility. Included in the practice facility are two large putting greens, a chipping green, a short-game complex and a magnificent range with greenside and fairway bunkers. The fine practice facilities are home to the   Pinewild Golf Academy. The Academy combines a great facility,  state-of-the-art video, and qualified PGA instruction, to create a learning opportunity for golfers of all skill levels.
Whether you visit and play Pinewild for the day, or whether you call it your home, the golf experience enjoyed, is sure to be one of the more memorable.

THE MAGNOLIA COURSE…”a traditional masterpiece”

Originally designed by Gene Hamm, the 18-Hole, par 72 Magnolia Course opened to rave reviews in 1989, and within two months was ranked as one of the top 50 courses in the entire southeastern United States by Golf Week.

The Magnolia has seen a complete multi-million dollar redesign, to include new greens complexes with Crenshaw Bent Grass, bunkers and cart paths.

The result is a truly fantastic lay-out with emphasis on risk-reward golf.
In an area that boasts numerous award winning courses, the Magnolia remains a local favorite. The course is characterized by vast elevation changes, generous driving areas, and spacious challenging greens. In the summer edition of the 2003 Pinehurst Magazine, the Magnolia was ranked as the fifth best course in the area, by the 43 PGA Golf Professionals.
Locals aren’t the only ones who know a great course when they play it. LPGA players heaped praise on the course when the LPGA’s Pinewild Women’s Championship was contested in 1995.  The Magnolia has been a qualifying site for numerous US Open Championships, the US Amateur Championship, as well as PGA Tour School Qualifying.
With the back tees measuring almost 7,500 yards, we like to say that the NEW Magnolia is "NO BARK, BUT ALL BITE".

THE HOLLY COURSE
…”Gary Player’s gift to Pinehurst”
A special signature design by golf’s legendary world traveler, Gary Player, the Holly course is the perfect compliment to the Magnolia. The Holly features fewer bunkers, more water and smaller greens. Vast areas of longleaf pines were left untouched, and the course features numerous natural waste bunkers.  The design utilizes the property’s many lakes, ponds and streams that wind through numerous wooded areas throughout the course. Multiple tees present a variety of challenges, but the course is definitely playable for golfers of all skill levels.

The Holly is proud to have hosted the Carolinas PGA Pro-Pro Championship, as well as numerous other Carolinas Golf Association and USGA qualifying events.

THE AZALEA COURSE …”the best 60 minutes in golf”

As a group, these holes represent some of the finest par-3 holes you will ever play, using every iron in your bag to play them. The course traverses natural, rolling land that is tucked within the back nine of the Magnolia course. The Azalea plays to a nine-hole par 27, but two sets of tees enables you to get 18 different looks.

Donald Ross style bunkers, that appear as though they are green side, but are in fact up to fifteen yards short of the putting green, are scattered throughout the course. After the sixty minutes, you’ll know you didn’t just play a nine-hole par 3 course; you’ll describe it to your friends as a “collection” of great par 3 holes.
