About 75% of the play is public with special rates for seniors on Tuesdays and Thursdays and women on Monday and Wednesday. During the winter months, the course offers its popular Winter Special.
In its 16-year history, London Downs has hosted two SBC Futures tour events and also the Teardrop tour, and plays host to numerous charity and corporate events throughout the year.

Fair test for most!!: London Downs is a fairly new course that came into being alongside a fairly upscale housing development. Fortunately for everyone most homes are not too close to the course. The course is well conditioned and the designers maximimized the course to suit the land. It's hilly enough to consider not walking. It's failry long for the older golfer and beginners and enough water to present some problems, however it's not completely unplayable to those groups. Most holes are fairly wide open. and only two holes absolutely require a forced carry over water of any distance. They also offer seasonal and late day discounts. The staff is also a nice group of folks.
