‘Pedalin’ with GP’ is sponsoring a golf tour-
nament this year to benefit the National
Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Every week nearly 200 people are newly
diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. The
disease usually strikes adults in the prime
of life – between the ages of 20 and 50. One
new case of MS is diagnosed every hour.
The unpredictably and symptoms of the
disease comes and goes, leaving people to
wonder, “Will I become paralyzed, blind or
have trouble walking? Will I be able to
raise my family and continue my career?”
Thanks to significant advances in research,
the FDA has approved several treatments
that may alter the underlying disease
course of multiple sclerosis, and early
treatment is critically important. These
breakthroughs did not come for free and
much more research needs to be com-
pleted!
The mission of the National Multiple Scle-
rosis Society is to free the world of multi-
ple sclerosis.
Please remember to put April 30th on your
calendars and come out to support this
very worthy cause. In addition to golf, we
will have great raffle prizes, silent auction
items and much, much more!
