Lion's PawGolf Links
Designed by renowned architect Willard Byrd, Lion's PawGolf Links is an
open, hilly course that treats the golfer to spectacular views of a beautiful
creek valley and its adjoining wetlands.
Distinguished by towering hardwoods, bold contoured greens, spectacular
water shots, and mounds of sugar white sand marking deep bunkers and
high embankments, the 18-hole layout features bent grass greens and
manicured fairways.
Lion's Paw has multiple tee areas, more than 70 bunkers and generous
mounding lining many fairways.
The course has many elevation changes.
Water comes into play on 15 holes and beautiful wetland views can be seen
from several holes.
Every hole at Lion's Paw is picturesque and challenging.
With oyster shells lining the lakes and creeks flowing across fairways, this is a
truly beautiful layout.
Lion's Paw measures 7,003 yards from the blue tees with a slope of 138 and a
74.6 course rating.
Other yardages, slopes and ratings are as follows: white tees —
6,457/130/71.6; gold tees — 5,872/121/68.2; and red tees — 5,363/118/69.
